  • Information you provide us in investment advisory agreements, account applications, and other documents you either complete or provide to us in connection with the opening and maintenance of your accounts.
  • Information provided for financial planning or insurance services.
  • Information you provide in conversations with us.
  • Information we receive from other sources such as insurance companies, investment brokerage or advisory firms, or other service providers.
  • When you have authorized us to provide information to your other advisors, such as CPA’s or attorneys, or you have authorized us to speak to them about your needs related to our services to you.

INFORMATION WE MAY DISCLOSE

In the course of conducting our business, there are circumstances in which we may use and disclose to other parties the information described above. We may do this only as permitted by law. For example, we may share the information we collect with third parties who are under contract to perform account servicing for us, such as custodians, money managers, clearing brokers and vendors providing data processing or transaction processing. We also may disclose this information to other third parties, as permitted by law, such as a regulator during the course of an examination, or as necessary to protect our rights. In addition, when applying for an investment account or insurance policy, you acknowledge that you are providing us, and companies we use, with the information that is obtained in connection with the opening of your accounts or policy applications. Such information may be used by us or companies we use to provide, review and service your accounts.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We maintain strict policies and procedures to protect information about you during all stages of our relationship with you.  In addition, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information about you. Access to personal information by employees and associates is restricted to those individuals who have a business need for such information. We do not sell or rent to anyone the information you have entrusted to us. If a client decides to close his or her accounts with us or becomes an inactive client, we will continue to adhere to this privacy policy and practices with respect to that client as described in this notice.
